A basketball tradition since 1997, DowdCamp is the premier skill & fundamental development basketball camp on the Peninsula.
DowdCamp focuses on progressive fundamental based skill instruction & long-term athletic development.
DowdCamp is directed by Jeff Dowd, former Varsity Basketball Coach and current Teacher at Burlingame High School.
Coach Dowd was named the 2004 & 2011 San Mateo County Times Coach of the Year, the 2008 San Mateo Daily News Coach of the Year, & the 2009 Cal Hi Coach of the Week. Coach Dowd and his staff led the Burlingame High Panthers to 8 of the last 9 Peninsula Athletic League Championships & four consecutive PAL Tournament Championships in 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011. The Burlingame High School basketball program, arguably the top public school program in the Bay area, has played in the Nor-Cal State Championships 6 times in the last 9 years.
